HR Business Partner
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + benefits (depending on experience)
Location: Chester base with hybrid working and occasional travel to UK offices
Contract: Permanent
A growing services business of around 170-200 people, backed by a global Private Equity partner, and are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to lead HR in the UK. Reporting to the HR Director and supported by an HR Advisor/Administrator, you will be the trusted partner to the Senior Leadership Team, delivering practical, compliant, and commercially focused people solutions.
In this role, you'll:
* Partner SLT and managers on organisational design, workforce planning, performance, and engagement initiatives
* Lead the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, ER casework, and compliance with UK employment law
* Support talent acquisition, including AI-first hiring pilots for Tech, Product, and Customer Success roles
* Drive reward, pay banding, and benefits programmes, ensuring fair and transparent practices
* Own HR systems, reporting, dashboards, and people analytics to inform decision‑making
* Coach managers, build capability, and embed practical frameworks across the business
About you: You're an experienced HRBP or Senior HR Generalist, ideally in professional services, comfortable operating in fast‑growing or PE‑backed environments. You're commercially minded, confident with data and HR systems, experienced in change delivery, and bring an empathetic, human‑centred approach to coaching leaders.
