The Role – R&D Engineer


We have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious R&D Engineer to join a prominent aerospace engineering business in Gloucestershire.


This is an in-depth hands-on role contributing to the satisfactory design, analysis, development, testing, and qualification of aerospace products.


You’ll be joining a fantastic team in a purpose-built modern facility where you’ll be able to make a real impact to the future of the business.


This position would be a great fit for an associate level engineer to further progress in their career.


Duties – R&D Engineer


1. Contributing to the development of Electro-mechanical, Electro-hydraulic and Mechatronic control components/ and components.
2. Mathematical modelling with MathCAD, MatLab/Simulink, FEA
3. 3D design and 2D drawing creation of concept ideas.
4. Research into aerospace materials and their properties
5. Develop understanding of common machining and fabrication processes
