Events and reservations Coordinator
The TBC Pub Company is looking for a passionate and highly organised events and reservations coordinator to join our reservations team.
This is a full time position, based predominately at The Ship Inn, in Elie, but with occasional travel to our other venues as required. Working in a reservations team of four, you will take the lead on all event's coordination at the Ship Inn.
From the very first enquiry to receiving post event feedback, you will be the main point of contact for our guests. We are looking for someone energetic and organised, who thrives on creating memorable experiences.
Role Details
* Full time position – 40 hour per week, weekends and evenings required depending on event bookings
* Pay – hourly paid, rate depending on experience
Key responsibilities
* Manage all incoming hotel and restaurant reservations across all the TBC pub company venues.
* Act as the point of contact for all events enquiries, including weddings, private dining, parties and one off events.
* Ensure events planned to the highest level of accuracy and communicate all details efficiently to the front of house management team.
* Oversight of on the day operations required for larger events.
* Deliver exceptional customer service by answering phone calls and responding to guests enquiries in a warm, professional and personal manner.
* Manage reservation inboxes across all three TBC pubs.
* Check guests in and out of the hotel when required
* Create events and marketing materials using Canva, including posters and social media content.
* Maximise revenue by proactively driving table reservations and event bookings
* Assist the management team with day-to-day administration tasks.
Role requirements
* A genuine passion for hospitality and events
* At least one years experience of events coordination experience
* A multitasker, ability to manage multiple reservation platforms at the same time.
* Excellent communication skills, both via email and over the phone.
* Strong IT skills, confident learning new systems and ability to work with various Microsoft Office programs
* Experience and confidence using Canva for marketing and promotional content
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
