Responsibilities as a Senior Electronics Design Engineer Working in a small R&D team to design, develop and test new power supply solutions for advanced industrial applications/equipment. Integrate power supplies with process control systems. Support product development from concept through to production, ensuring compliance with standards. Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to create technical proposals for bespoke equipment. provide cost estimates for technically challenging requirements. Develop conceptual designs, electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and embedded software. Experience required for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer role Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field. Experience in:- PCB schematic capture, PCB layouts (CAD), Solidworks, AutoCAD 2D or similar. Embedded C++, closed loop embeded control systems Mixed signal circuit design, Analogue and digital and embedded controllers, Tcl/Tk scripting language would be beneficial. Power electronics design and system integration, DC/AC, AC/AC converters, DC/AC inverters & resonant circuit design would be beneficial. Test and Measurement.
