Job Title: Site Supervisor
Location: Canary Wharf, London
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Site Supervisor to take ownership of a high‑end corporate office building in Canary Wharf. This is a single‑person site role, offering autonomy and responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of building services within a prestigious commercial environment.
The Role
* Acting as the sole on‑site engineer responsible for all building services.
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works.
* Managing subcontractors, permits to work and site compliance.
* Overseeing building systems including HVAC, electrical and mechanical plant.
* Supporting planned maintenance and project works, including out‑of‑hours activities.
* Participating in building shutdowns when required.
* Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety and compliance standards.
Package
* £55,000 basic salary
* Monday to Friday working pattern (8am–5pm)
* Call‑out rota 1 in 1 (£75 standby – approx. £4,000 per year, low call‑outs)
* 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
Requirements
* Electrical or Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
* Experience working within commercial building services environments.
* Ability to work independently and manage a site autonomously.
* Experience managing subcontractors and site compliance processes.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
