Job Description
Find where you belong!
Do you have a passion for improving rooms and making them look sharp? Are you an experienced painter and decorator looking to make a difference and put a smile on the faces of customers and staff? Travelodge has one of the largest in-house maintenance teams, and we are looking for a painting expert to help improve our hotels to provide customers with an unforgettable experience.
What’s it all about?
If you enjoy travelling and getting out and about, this could be a good fit for you. You will support Travelodge in a regional role covering Central England.
This means you will be driving to locations along the Central Belt of the UK on a daily/weekly basis, focusing on painting and decorating our new refit hotels and touching up any damage to other properties.
A significant part of this job involves building relationships with Hotel Managers to help maintain properties and ensuring you meet your targets.
Why Travelodge?
We believe in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can be their true self and belong. We work hard to improve the diversity of our teams and celebrate our differences. We also prioritize our colleagues’ wellbeing with resources to support emotional, physical, financial, and work wellbeing, which we call “Better Me”.
Who will this appeal to?
If you have general maintenance experience seeking job stability and a welcoming environment, Travelodge could be the place for you. Since this role involves travel across the UK, you need a valid Manual UK driving license.
You should also be able to stay overnight in some locations due to the travel involved.
