About The Role
We are looking for a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join the Facilities Engineering team at Alton Towers Resort. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a large, dynamic team responsible for maintaining and servicing the resort’s air conditioning systems across multiple areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of all air conditioning systems across the resort.
* Diagnose and repair faults on AC units and associated equipment.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and relevant regulations.
* Work collaboratively with other engineers and departments to minimise downtime and maintain guest comfort.
* Respond to reactive maintenance requests promptly and effectively.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent).
* F‑Gas certification (essential).
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing priorities.
Career Progression

* Opportunities to progress into Senior Engineer, Specialist HVAC Technician, or Facilities Supervisor roles.
* Potential to move into multi‑skilled engineering positions or broader facilities management roles within the resort or contract.
