Would the opportunity to work in an outstanding mainstream secondary school as an Attendance Officer Could a well-structured, well-supported Attendance Officer role be the right fit for you? * A candidate with 1 years' experience as an attendance officer in a secondary school or relevant work experience * A thorough understanding of SIMS or equivalent education software's (not essential but prefereable) * A firm manner when interacting with parents regarding truancy and absences * Experience of Bromcom/SIMS Candidates will be expected to: * Contribute to the improvement of attendance throughout the school and meet/exceed the school attendance annual targets. * Work with the SIMS Attendance system to monitor and identify truancy and absence in order note trends and intervene appropriately * Be the first line of contact to parents in relation to attendance and truancy About the School - Attendance Officer This School is a large mixed academy school for pupils aged 11-19, located in Islington, London, England.
