Critical Care Nurse - Wirral Hospital
Wirral Hospital is seeking registered nurses for our critical care unit who are eager to deliver a holistic and caring experience to patients. This role offers the opportunity to care for 18 critically ill patients across various medical and surgical specialties. As you develop your skills, you may also work with rehabilitation, follow-up, and outreach teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as a critical care nurse following completion and assessment of critical care training.
2. Serve as a preceptor and supervisor to junior colleagues and unqualified support staff.
3. Perform specialised nursing duties after completing supplemented training.
4. Participate in the rotation across all critical care areas as service needs require.
5. Act as a core team member, often working out of hours shifts.
Person Specification:
* Minimum of 1 year acute ward experience.
* Desirable: Critical care knowledge and experience.
* Enthusiastic and dedicated team player.
