Large Hospitality is a management company within the hospitality industry primarily focusing on hotels and food & beverages. Due to the rapid growth of our portfolio, we are currently looking for engaging and confident Receptionists to join our Reception team Part-time at our hotel in Trivelles Rochester Hotel. We are looking for people with the right attitude toward hospitality, with an eye for detail who will ensure our guests and clients have a memorable stay with us.

Duties to include (but are not restricted to):

* Providing a warm and high-quality service over the phone and on the guest's arrival at the hotel
* Ensuring exceptional service standards to maximize guest satisfaction and ensuring the front desk is never left unattended
* Responding to guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
* Helping encourage customer loyalty by developing friendly, personalized relationships
* Following all necessary processes as per guidelines when guests arrive and depart (check-in /check-out)
* Responding to head office and head reception staff in an efficient manner. Ensuring that all relevant guest feedback is promptly passed on to the head of reception
* Managing invoices, payments, and cash transactions and maintaining logs and records
* Passing on information as necessary to other departments (handover book) and within the front desk team
* Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and other hotel facilities necessary to perform daily duties
* Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
* Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
* Taking reservations and business inquiries out of office hours
* Fill in daily & weekly reports as a regular practice

Requirements for this role:

* Minimum 1-year Front Office experience preferably in a midscale hotel chain
* Knowledge of systems (PMS) like Little Hotelier / HOP is advantageous
* Good communication skills. Knowledge of a second language would be advantageous
