About the Role As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support students with a variety of additional needs, which may include: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs Speech & Language needs Moderate / Severe learning difficulties You'll be working 1:1 with individual students or providing general classroom support, helping them engage with learning, develop key skills, and feel confident in school. What You'll Be Doing Supporting pupils with SEND to access the curriculum Helping create a positive, nurturing learning environment Assisting with classroom activities and learning interventions Encouraging emotional regulation, communication, and independence Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to tailor support Who We're Looking For You don't need formal TA qualifications - just the right attitude! We'd love to hear from you if you are: Patient, caring, and understanding Confident working with children with additional needs Able to build strong, trusting relationships Reliable and committed Looking for a role where every day makes a difference Experience in support, care, youth work, education or similar settings is a bonus - but not essential.
