As a Production Team Leader,you will be responsible for being the line manager for a team made up of employees and international contractors. You will organise their team sprints, support them to achieve their goal,.We are looking for enthusiastic, positive and motivated individuals who have a high level of organisational skills.You will empower your team to be the best they can be, keeping them up to date on the latest guidance, business updates and processes.You will be highly skilled in engagement and communication, disseminating and delegating where necessary.

Role Responsibilities and Skills Required:

* Leadership: Line Manage a team of employees and/or contractors potentially covering different timezones. Ensure the team meets targets and goals and support them in removing any blockers hindering their performance. Support employees with wellbeing chat and development conversations.
* Organisation: Support with scoping out new projects, ensure deadlines are met with Sprint planning and weekly allocation.
* Data analysis: Spot check team data weekly. Identify any anomalies or errors and support the team ensuring accuracy going forward. Engage with points reviews contextualising why changes are needed.
* Reporting: Monthly Reporting on team performance, and project progress.
* Collaboration: Work closely with ECL (Education Content Leads) and/or CM (Country Managers) to ensure deadlines are achieved and priorities are clear from day 1.
* Mindset: Demonstrates a proactive mindset by identifying areas for team improvement with actionable solutions.
* Communication: Take ownership of communicating changes that impact the team, fostering a culture of transparency, empowerment, and shared understanding
* Meetings: To host meetings for employees when required, running on 1 to 1’s, allocation meetings, stand ups and sprint planning.
* Training: Provide training as/when required in an appropriate format to meet demands of your team and ensure efficient practices are in place leading to high quality resources.

Your weekly activity could include:

Performance

* Creating and maintaining a culture of problem solving and positivity;
* Tracking and supporting with team member productivity;
* Creating measurable targets with team members;
* Setting sprint goals and deadlines;
* Making contract/agreement/salary recommendations to the People Team (where necessary), based on collected evidence of performance;
* Inspiring, motivating and empowering individuals;
* Building on pre-existing line management support provided by previous experienced Team Leaders;
* Proactive and confident when making decisions that align with the business goals/KPIs. Work SMART and challenge yourself as well as your team to better themselves and maximise morale and output.

Communication

* Keeping to diary engagements wherever possible and being flexible with availability to team members;
* Creating a feeling of safety within the team, so that individuals are comfortable coming to you with difficult conversations;
* Creating a feeling of safety within the team, so that individuals are open to healthy levels of challenge;
* Showcasing all the Twinkl values and portraying this when leading your team (a key emphasis on Leading the Way);
* Understanding the reasoning behind any top level communication to deliver to your team so you can champion the narrative.

Data Analysis

* Performing spot checks on your team's data, ensuring accuracy; using this data to spot any trends or areas that could be addressed to approve workflow inefficiencies.
* Engaging in points reviews and determining why resources take the time they take.
* Understanding what components are required for each step of the production process.

In this role, you will learn:

* How to manage performance;
* How to project manage;
* How to use data to make decisions;
* How to identify room for improvement;
* How to understand the commercial impact of a change;
* How to run Jira/stand ups/reviews/retros etc.;
* How to develop as a leader at Twinkl;
* How to enable team members to take a problem-solving approach to their work.

* Your Production Team
