Class 2 Driver - Days - £13.24 per hour (Rising to £14.93 after 12 weeks) - Monday to Friday - Ongoing Work
The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 2 (HGV Cat C) Drivers for our client based in Team Valley, Gateshead.
This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers looking for day shift multi-drop work with consistent hours, excellent pay, and the chance to join a reliable and supportive team throughout the busy period and beyond.

The Role:
* Bulk delivery and collection work
* Multi-drop driving across the region
* Working Monday to Sunday (5 shifts per week)
* Typical start time 09:00 - 18:00 (approximate finish)
* Carrying out deliveries and collections as required
* Ensuring all goods are safely loaded, secured, and delivered on time
* Performing vehicle checks and maintaining high safety standards
* Communicating effectively with the transport team
The Candidate:
* Must hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required
* Previous Class 2 experience preferred, but new passes will be considered
* Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
* Good communication and customer service skills
Hours of Work:
* Monday to Friday - 5 shifts per week
* Start time: 09:00 - 18:00 (approx finish)
* Ongoing work with consistent weekly hours
Pay Rates:
* £13.24 per hour (flat rate)
* £14.93 per hour after 12 weeks (Monday-Sunday)
* £18.66 per hour after 40 hours (post 12 weeks)
* £29.86 per hour on Bank Holidays (post 12 weeks)
