We have an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to become a level 3 Early Years Apprentice at our beautiful nursery in Hamilton.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a happy nursery where we focus on encouraging children to be children, learning through fun and engaging play. You will be working with a dedicated team in a caring, family friendly, characterful and stimulating environment which is inviting to children, parents and staff. In addition to the usual paperwork and knowledge of legislation and the EYFS, confidence and the ability to be a great team player are important.

Responsibilities
Job Purpose: Nursery Apprentices are contracted to the nursery company and are actively engaged in a work place training scheme operated by an external company who visit the apprentice at regular intervals during their training. Nursery Apprentices will support the nursery team in the operation of the nursery facilities to ensure a high quality, balanced provision of leading practice education and care is delivered, adhere to Banana Moon policies and procedures, meet legislative requirements and follow the education curriculum. To assist the staff team to create a safe, caring and welcoming setting in which parents are happy to entrust their child and where their child is encouraged and supported to flourish in an enabling and stimulating environment.

Requirements
Candidate MUST already hold a Level 2 Early Years Qualification and want to work towards a Level 3 EY Qualification
* DBS enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector
* Enrolment on a work based training scheme to study a level 2 or level 3 qualification as defined by Children's Workforce Development Council
* Past experience within the early years sector is preferable
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with children and families
* Enthusiastic, nurturing, and dedicated to supporting children's learning
* Able to work collaboratively and contribute to a team environment
