Bromley
£30,388 - £31,987 per year
40 hours per week
We are looking for a Landscape Technician Charge Hand to join our team based in Bromley. You will work alongside 2 other Landscape Technicians visiting a variety of properties, providing ground maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, hedge cutting, and shrub pruning in communal areas. A company van will be provided, and it will be your responsibility to ensure it is kept in good condition.
The role of Landscape Technician Charge Hand includes:
* Providing supervisory support in keeping estates well maintained and clean
* Using equipment and materials in a safe manner as instructed and in accordance with risk assessments and manufacturer’s guidance
* Carrying out hazardous tasks such as spraying, following supplier guidelines and maintaining relevant records to comply with health, safety, and legal requirements
* Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition and suitable for required tasks
* Responding positively to complaints and service breakdowns to meet customer expectations
Skills and experience:
* A pesticide application certificate PA1 – PA6 or equivalent
* Recent experience in a similar role operating gardening machinery
* Experience driving large caged vans
* Must hold a full valid UK driving licence to drive on company business

The salary for this role is £29,549 with an additional policy allowance of £839 per annum. After 12 months, the salary increases to £31,104 with an additional policy allowance of £883 per annum, subject to satisfactory performance.
