Overview
Job title: Art Technician. Employer: Leyton Sixth Form College. Contract: Permanent, Part-time. Hours of Work: Part-time, 3 days per week. Salary: £28,426 - £31,097 per annum (main scale 6) PRO RATA (.6fte).
Responsibilities
You will provide expertise and assistance in the Visual Arts team, support staff in the preparation of materials and equipment, guide students with the completion of practical work, and provide training for the safe use of machinery. You will also have the opportunity to identify and suggest areas for improvement within the department. You should be suitably qualified to teach within a sixth form college and have excellent communication skills and a track record of sustained improvement leading to a positive impact on students’ progress. As an inspirational practitioner you will be committed to student-centred learning and to raising the attainment and aspirations of our students.
Requirements
