Here at the7stars we understand the importance of nurturing young talent, and for this reason, this year, we have made some changes to hopefully make this experience more rewarding for those that are keen to join us.
Summer Internship Programme 2026
This opportunity is for people aged 18+. You must be available for 4 or more consecutive weeks. This is a paid opportunity, so you will be paid through payroll (PAYE) for the duration of your internship.
All those that join us will be working 9.00am-5.30pm Monday-Thursday in our office, First Floor, The Acre, 90 Long Acre, London, WC2E 9RA.
Team Information
AV
It’s a hugely exciting time in the world of video advertising, with a huge influx in advertising‑funded video on demand (AVOD). Traditional SVOD providers such as Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime are offering ad subscription tiers to their customers, and the broadcasters (ITV, Channel 4 and Sky) are focusing on becoming digital‑first businesses.
The AV graduate, with the support of the Senior Account Executive and Manager, will be in charge of booking AV campaigns and using their negotiation skills to ensure our clients’ campaigns are delivered and optimised to ensure best‑in‑class delivery. They will also need to ensure activity is reconciled in a timely fashion. On top of this, they will need to keep abreast of the market to ensure the team, agency and clients are aware of any changes or new offerings within the market.
ARC – Insight
An intern within the Insight team at the7stars would support the development and understanding of audiences, helping to ensure they are central to decision‑making across our client work. This would involve analysing data from a range of industry and proprietary tools, identifying patterns and behaviours that bring audiences to life across both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. They would also be involved in understanding wider macro behaviours and cultural trends to help contextualise what is happening within categories and brands.
For this particular team, we would advise giving availability for a minimum of 6 consecutive weeks in order to make your time with us more valuable.
PPC
The PPC team is responsible for planning, launching, and optimising paid search campaigns to drive performance across key business objectives. We work across campaign strategy, budget management, keyword expansion, ad creative testing, and performance analysis to continuously improve results across our paid media channels.
Type of work the intern would support with:
* Updating budget pacing and performance tracking documents
* Conducting keyword research to identify new campaign opportunities
* Drafting ad copy variations for testing and optimisation
* Supporting the setup and build of new PPC campaigns
* Assisting with search query analysis and account hygiene tasks (e.g. negative keyword reviews, campaign audits)
* Helping with reporting and pulling performance insights for the team
Octopus
The Octopus team looks after everything across publishing, audio, and digital. On the digital side, we work closely with media partners directly, while also running agencies’ programmatic activity. Because we cover such a broad mix of media owners, clients, formats, and platforms, there’s a huge amount of variety in what we do and plenty of opportunities to learn and build practical, transferable skills.
As an intern, you’d get hands‑on experience across a range of projects. This could include working with partners to help build responses to briefs, as well as supporting campaign reviews where we pull together post‑campaign analyses for clients. You’ll gain real insight into how campaigns are planned, delivered, and evaluated in a fast‑moving media environment. We’re also closely involved with the agency’s AI initiatives, which means we’re constantly testing new tools and ways of working to make processes more efficient. This creates a great learning environment for understanding how the industry is evolving and adapting to AI and agentic change giving you exposure to the future of media and marketing from day one.
7Create
7Create is the7stars' creative and production offering, working across strategy, creative development, production, and increasingly social and content creation. We work closely with the wider media teams to create ideas that work seamlessly across channels — from TV and AV through to social, OOH, partnerships and digital content.
A key part of the internship would involve shadowing and supporting our Account Management colleagues, who are central to how the department operates day‑to‑day, helping keep projects, people and clients aligned and moving forward.
What the intern would support with:
* Creative and strategic research
* Social, cultural and competitor reviews
* Supporting creative development and production workflows
* Attendance at shoots / post‑production sessions (if productions fall during the intern’s time with us)
* Assisting with timings, meetings and project coordination
* Supporting finance admin, estimates and project tracking
* Attending briefings and creative review sessions
* Documenting feedback, actions and next steps
* Supporting presentation preparation and internal initiatives
We’d particularly love an intern who is curious, organised, collaborative and creatively minded, but also strong with numbers and highly detail‑oriented, as the role would involve both creative exposure and operational/finance support.
Planning
Planning sits at the heart of everything we do at the7stars, combining insight, data, creativity and commercial thinking to design campaigns that connect brands with the right audiences. As a Planning Intern, you’ll support the team in bringing campaigns to life - from researching audiences and analysing competitors, to helping build media plans, report on performance, and contribute to day‑to‑day account activity - while working alongside specialists across digital, social, AV and data.
You’ll also have the chance to choose a couple of team preferences, giving you exposure to the areas of planning that interest you most and a well‑rounded view of how modern media campaigns are built and delivered.
