Responsibilities
Closely with the Managing Director to shape and deliver Four Anjels Finance strategy. Lead, develop and coach a small, busy finance team. Conduct cashflow forecasting, analysis and support for cash management. Create monthly management accounts (profit and loss, gross margin analysis, balance sheet) providing insightful commentary and analysis. Manage stock costings, lead forecasts and budgeting activities, oversee monthly payroll, manage monthly VAT returns, prepare and post monthly journals, reconcile and analyse variances. Act as a commercial finance business partner as part of the senior leadership team.
Qualifications
Relevant experience, ideally 2 years as a finance lead. Professional accounting qualification, ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Experience in managing a team, supporting, coaching and driving team performance. Expertise in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. Relevant manufacturing sector experience including stock costing and reconciliations. Accustomed to dealing with competing demands from various stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify trends, issues and opportunities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an inclusive and collaborative approach. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail. A drive to make a positive business impact.
Salary and Working Arrangements
* Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum (depending on experience and skills)
* Working arrangements: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. Hybrid position with expectation to be on site 4 days per week.
