Are you a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in a vibrant primary school? We are seeking a committed and skilled HLTA to join our friendly and supportive school community in Doncaster (DN4) for a full-time position running from January to mid-June 2026.
About the Role
As our Primary HLTA, you will:
* Lead whole-class learning in the absence of the class teacher
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 (depending on experience)
* Provide targeted interventions and small-group support
* Work closely with teaching staff to raise pupil attainment
* Support with assessment, planning and classroom preparation
* Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
* Strong classroom management skills
* Experience leading whole-class teaching in a primary setting
* A positive, proactive approach and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
