A lovely family in Pimlico, London is looking for a Part-time Nanny to help them in looking after their newborn baby and school-aged child. They seek someone with newborn experience, reliable, trustworthy, and possess a proactive, friendly, and child-focused approach. The family needs someone loving, who genuinely loves children and doesn't just see it as a job. Someone who can drive and holds a full driving license would be a bonus but is not a must.
A valid first aid qualification is essential to this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, 30 hours per week
Duties include:
Waking the children in the morning and helping them start their day
Washing and dressing the children, including bathing and hygiene routines for the baby
Preparing and serving healthy breakfasts and snacks
Feeding the baby, including bottle preparation and weaning support when appropriate
Changing nappies and ensuring a clean, comfortable environment for the baby
Establishing and maintaining nap routines for the baby
Helping older children with homework and encouraging learning through play
Planning and organising age-appropriate activities for both the baby and older children
Engaging in creative and educational play, indoors and outdoors
Attending playdates and organising social outings
Supporting bedtime routines, including dressing for bed and reading stories
Maintaining a tidy and organised environment, including children’s laundry and play areas
