At the heart of our improvement are high standards and expectations both of our students but also of our staff. These lay the foundation for creating a positive working environment that is conducive to promoting high quality teaching and learning provision.
Central to our aims is the development of both our teaching and support staff. CPD plays a crucial role in embedding our tried and tested teaching and learning strategies. Our varied CPD programme draws on expertise from across the trust and as a result staff have the opportunity to take part in a range of sessions that focus on improving the education our students receive.
Our Quality Assurance processes create a culture of support and development. All staff play an active part in this and are regularly encouraged to share good practice across the academy and wider trust. Our systems go hand in hand with our CPD provision and where development opportunities are identified bespoke CPD is put in place.
We pride ourselves on outstanding pastoral systems that support all of our students. At TAB, the Behaviour for Learning Policy (BfL) is implemented to ensure that lessons take place without disruption. Robust systems are in place to that allow teachers to teach and drive up standards in the classroom. Running alongside the BfL Policy are our highly motivated pastoral team who provide support at every level for our students.
