We empower our employees to innovate, collaborate, and shape the future of technology solutions for businesses worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead the execution of software development programs, working closely with engineering teams, architects, and Cloud Ops. You will drive technical planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and security. The role involves removing obstacles, optimizing workflows, and managing technical risks and dependencies to enable timely delivery of complex solutions. This is a hybrid role - three days per week in our Newcastle office. Key accountabilities: • Lead hands-on program management across all phases: analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation. • Oversee cross-functional Infrastructure projects, collaborating with Development, QA, SRE, and Release teams. • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business goals. • Drive the coordinated management of complex, large-scale programs to meet business objectives within a defined timeline. Ensure efficient resource utilization and timely delivery of business value. • Collaborate with Product and Technology leadership to understand program vision, purpose, and expected business benefits. Define and align KPIs with company goals and objectives. • Manage program-level decomposition of work across multiple delivery teams. Define interdependencies and release plans across organizational boundaries. • Work closely with Product Owners and Development teams to ensure program execution aligns with product vision, objectives, and timelines. Ensure the engagement of appropriate resources and provide creative solutions to resource challenges. • Lead the resolution of program-level issues, leveraging scrum-of-scrums and facilitating executive-level escalations and change management. • Monitor the health of program delivery, tracking status, risks, issues, and dependencies. Proactively address team impediments and resolve program-level roadblocks to ensure successful execution. • Manage program-level communications, ensuring stakeholders are informed of roadmap changes, release plans, and delivery status. Lead program reviews with delivery teams, stakeholders, and executive management. • Champion the integration and adoption of agile delivery practices across teams. Facilitate retrospectives to identify improvement opportunities and integrate continuous improvement initiatives. • Lead by example, actively coaching Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and delivery teams to ensure successful adoption of agile practices. Step into key management roles as needed to support program delivery efforts. Key Responsibilities Skills and Know-How: • Ability to prioritize complex problems in project management software and guide teams in addressing high-impact tasks. • Extensive experience with Jira, using it for managing technical roadmaps, sprints, and backlog prioritization. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, particularly in engineering execution and operational efficiency. • Experience working in fast-paced, iterative software development environments, ensuring efficient and structured program execution. • Mentorship and leadership experience, providing guidance to peers, junior members, and interns. • Self-motivation and independent execution, capable of driving small projects alone or collaborating with multiple stakeholders. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ensuring alignment across engineering teams, product teams, and executives. • Organizational expertise and multitasking abilities, efficiently managing multiple projects and engineering initiatives. • Customer-focused mindset, advocating for user needs and business priorities in technical discussions. Technical Qualifications: • 5 years of experience in IT networking, DevOps, or software engineering domains. • PM and scaled agile certifications (a plus but not mandatory). • Exposure to Accounting/ERP applications or accounting principles (a plus but not mandatory). • Knowledge of Jira Administration (a plus). • Strong understanding of configuration management tools and infrastructure. • Experience shipping high-quality, well-designed SaaS software products. • Experience in cloud platforms, modern architecture patterns and large enterprise systems (a plus).
