At DXC, one of our platinum accounts has opening for a Senior System Admin at a high skill level. The successful candidate will work within multiple teams and will be innovative and analytical with a good eye for detail. Your role will include implementing standards, policies, and procedures for continual service improvement.
Role responsibilities:
1. Provide first and second level technical support on incidents and problems
2. Monitor overall system performance and ensure smooth system functionality
3. Create, maintain, and utilise documentation
4. Assist building compliance with processes and policies

6. Working to ITIL best practices
7. Desire to improve processes, looking for the root cause of a problem
8. Willingness to both share your knowledge and learn from others
9. A proactive approach towards looking for risks and problems
Desirable Skills and Technologies
10. Experience in installation, upgrading, configuration, and support of: Windows 2016/2019, Windows Server, AWS, and Azure
11. Knowledge of Active Directory including object creation, OU creation, RBAC management, and DFS
12. Knowledge of virtualisation with VMware, VSphere, VSAN, SCVMM, Hyper-V
13. Containerisation experience
14. Knowledge within networking, such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN, WAN
15. Good understanding of PowerShell scripting
16. Awareness of McAfee EPO/ENS
