The Role
You’ll work alongside teachers and school staff to support pupils with a range of academic, social, and behavioural needs. Every day will bring something different, but your contribution will have a lasting impact.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils during lessons to keep them focused and involved
Assisting with literacy and numeracy activities
Promoting positive behaviour through consistency and clear guidance
Helping to create a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Working collaboratively with teachers and staff to support student progress
This is a practical, people-focused role where you’ll directly contribute to pupils’ development.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need formal qualifications — we’re more interested in your attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
We’re looking for individuals who are:
Calm, dependable, and resilient
Positive role models with a confident approach
Flexible and open to working across different school settings
Strong communicators who work well as part of a team
Experience in education, childcare, coaching, youth work, or care is beneficial, but not essential.

Essential Requirement
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required, as travel between schools may be needed at short notice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
