Data Analyst - Hybrid - Consultancy - Up to £55k DOE
UK-Based - Hybrid 1-2 days a week in the office

We’re working with a consultancy delivering impactful digital transformation in the public sector. They’re now looking for a Data Analyst to join a multidisciplinary product team to help measure, track and optimise digital services used by millions.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and user-centred delivery—someone who can turn insights into outcomes and guide teams with clarity and evidence.
What You'll Do:
* Develop meaningful performance measurement frameworks (KPIs, OKRs, user need tracking)
* Work with delivery teams to shape how success is defined and measured at each product lifecycle stage
* Build insightful dashboards using Data Studio or similar tools to drive visibility and action
* Collaborate with stakeholders to test hypotheses, visualise data compellingly, and make evidence-based decisions
* Mentor junior team members, promote best practices, and uphold high data ethics and governance standards
What You’ll Bring:
* Experience building and maintaining service performance dashboards
* Experience with Power BI, Tableau, QlikView
* Strong scripting in SQL, Python, or R
* Ability to select the right data sources and interpret findings with clarity
* Strong storytelling with data - using the right visuals for the right audience
* A solid grasp of product development and how data fits across each phase
* Eligible for Security Clearance (must have 5+ years’ UK residency)
Nice to Have:
* Google Analytics (including Google Tag Manager),
* Looker Studio,
* PowerQuery / BigQuery.
* Knowledge of data privacy, security, and ethical standards
* Familiarity with GDS or NHS service standards
* Ability to make data-led recommendations for service improvement
