About the role:
This is one of several new vacancies for a dedicated team to develop the Hub and Short Breaks services, extending support to more children and young people throughout the week.
As a Senior Sessional Worker, you will collaborate with the Hub and Short Breaks Operations Manager to deliver flexible, engaging, and responsive services for neurodivergent children and young people aged 5-25.
You will contribute to designing, developing, and delivering innovative sessions that meet the needs and aspirations of the young people, ensuring compliance with OFSTED standards.

Essential skills and experience:
* Ability to commit to 20 hours per week, including evenings and Sundays
* Experience in designing and delivering holistic services for neurodivergent children and young people
* Experience working with partner agencies
* Recent experience within regulatory frameworks (Ofsted, CQC)
* Level 3 qualification or equivalent
* Knowledge of interventions supporting disabled children and young people
* Understanding of communication aids like Makaton, PECS, AAC
* Knowledge of safeguarding policies
* Team player with supportive attitude
* Excellent communication skills adaptable to diverse audiences
* Proactive in identifying and addressing service gaps
* Experience in observation-based assessment and planning
* Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
* Flexible, proactive, and responsive to child and family needs
* Active listening and problem-solving skills
* Positive attitude towards change and new opportunities
