📍 Location: Fareham, UK
💷 Salary: £42k-£45k (Negotiable for the right candidate)
🕗 Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-16:30pm (may vary by site)

SLR Recruitment are excited to present a fantastic new role for an experienced Gas Engineer to join a leading Building Services & Maintenance company in Fareham. You'll become an integral part of a strong Maintenance Department with plenty of opportunity to grow.

🔍 The Role
You’ll be working across a variety of commercial premises including schools, housing, and offices throughout Hampshire (plus occasional travel to Gillingham & Berkshire).
Your day-to-day will include:
* ✔️ PPM servicing & reactive maintenance call-outs
* ✔️ Ensuring buildings are safe, compliant & fully operational
* ✔️ Handling anything from minor repairs to full system installations
👉 No two days will be the same!
🧠 Skills & Knowledge Needed
* Strong commercial experience (domestic work = bonus)
* Plumbing knowledge & unvented certifications (training provided if needed)
* Understanding of building materials, safety standards & regulations
* Great customer service & communication skills
* Self‑motivated and able to manage your own workload
