Job Overview
As a Kitchen Sales Designer, you will support our Trade customers by turning their clients' dream kitchens into a reality. You will meet end users in their homes, listen to their vision, clearly understand their needs, and offer expert advice. The role involves planning and designing inspirational kitchens that exceed expectations for both design and utility.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with trade customers and negotiate while promoting and protecting the integrity and value of the design and product quality.
* Design inspirational kitchens that meet user needs and exceed expectations.
* Provide expert advice and support to trade customers throughout the design process.
Key Qualities & Experience
* Customer service experience.
* Thrives in fast‑paced environments.
* Strong eye for design.
* Previous sales experience.
* Prioritisation and organisation skills.
* Curious learner.
* Results‑driven.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Access to own vehicle.
* Previous design (CAD) experience preferred but not essential.
Training & Development
We provide face‑to‑face and online training via our Howdens Academy, covering kitchen measuring & compliance, inspirational design, technical product knowledge, and sales skills.
