The role involves supporting our young people, providing compassionate care during their stay, and assisting the Registered Manager to run a successful staff team and oversee day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
As a member of our residential care team you will strive to bring out the best in every young person by supporting and guiding them in their daily lives. This may involve helping them at school, accompanying them to activities, or assisting with completion of general daily tasks, including morning and night-time routines.
You will also assist in supervising staff, updating care plans and reporting relevant information about the care of our young people.
Qualifications & Requirements
A Level 3 Qualification in Children’s Residential and Childcare is essential.
Previous experience within a residential childcare setting is required, together with a strong commitment to the values necessary for a role within residential childcare.
Due to the location of the role, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence.
All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including DBS checks and at least two references covering the last three years for work with children or vulnerable adults.
