Duties:

1. Prepare accurate cost estimates for residential development projects, including materials, labour, and other expenses.
2. Develop and evaluate tender documents, analyse bids, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
3. Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing variations to the budget.
4. Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, including processing payments and resolving disputes.
5. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
6. Conduct value engineering exercises to optimise project value while maintaining quality standards.
7. Assess and mitigate risks to the project's budget and schedule through proactive risk management strategies.
8. Prepare final accounts and documentation at project completion, reconciling actual costs with the initial budget.
Requirements:
9. Previous Quantity Surveying experience
10. Degree qualified and or equivalent
11. Strong Construction experience ideally residential house building
12. Full UK driving license
