Position

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner


What you will do:

You will be confident in working alongside an Occupational Therapist carrying a highly complex caseload. This role will involve managing a delegated caseload providing evidence based occupational therapy interventions. You will support the ongoing management, review & delivery of OT services across South Ayrshire. You will be able to work autonomously and support people and their families to achieve good rehabilitation outcomes alongside wider health and social care services.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You will require to have excellent communication and organisational skills along with a proactive and dynamic attitude. The postholder should enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that our local population are able to receive accessible and responsive support.

You will be required to actively participate in supervision and the Personal Development structure whilst clinically working as part of a wider multi disciplinary team.


Hours:

37 per week - The hours are worked Monday to Friday and flexible working/full or part time may be considered.


UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

A UK driving licence is essential to this role
