Contract Type & Hours: Permanent, 37.5 hours/week, involving day, night, bank holiday, and weekend shifts. Flexible working options available.
Salary: £37,338 - £44,962 per annum, Band 6
Job Overview
As a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse, you will oversee assessment and care of respiratory patients, prioritise treatments, and supervise staff. You will support the Ward Manager in daily ward management, staffing, and team leadership. The role involves flexible working, including night shifts and weekends.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria:
* Awareness of NHS issues, governance, and quality initiatives
* Knowledge of safeguarding, patient information management, and NMC Code of Conduct
* Leadership and clinical management experience
* Excellent communication and IT skills
* Recent clinical experience in an acute Trust
* RGN qualification and experience in acute medicine
* Mentor or teaching qualification preferred
* Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively, remaining calm under pressure
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience with electronic patient records, project management, and clinical supervision
* Preceptorship completion
