Responsibilities
* Designing and substantiating reactor cores using deterministic and stochastic methods.
* Supporting manufacture of reactor cores.
* Designing experiments and performing measurements in our critical benchmarking facility.
* Supporting the UK submarine fleet with onboard tests and trials.
* Collaborating with industry partners, civil nuclear, and academia.
* Researching and developing new methods to maximize operational capability.
Candidate Profile
We seek candidates with:
* A relevant degree (undergraduate, master's, or PhD) in engineering, physics, or a scientific field.
* Experience in reactor physics or the nuclear industry.
* An analytical mindset, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
