This is a full-time, permanent contract. The post is 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only plus INSET days, holidays to be taken in non-term time).

We are seeking an enthusiastic Learning Assistant to support our teachers in delivering high-quality learning. The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification and/or experience working with children, with training provided for the right person.
The successful candidate will be well-supported, working alongside a passionate team of teachers and support staff.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
* Promote students' development in a safe, secure, and challenging environment
* Meet the physical/medical needs of students according to individual care plans, encouraging independence
* Understand students' specific needs to facilitate effective learning
* Encourage inclusion within the classroom
* Display students' work to reflect their achievements
* Promote good personal hygiene and assist with self-help skills
* Facilitate small group interventions as directed by the SENDCO (e.g., homework club, social skills)
