As a part of the management team within the Warrington branch, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and exceeding business goals.
As the Field Repair Manager, you'll lead a team of skilled Lift Engineers and subcontractors, guiding them towards successfully achieving our Business Plan targets for objectives in the Major Plan fulfilment. This role covers Modernisation through to New installation, from Platform Lifts to Passenger and Goods Lifts.
You'll have the opportunity to shape and inspire your team, ensuring they deliver exceptional service aligned with our company values and Health and Safety standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous experience in the lift industry to join a passionate, dedicated team.
Our ideal candidate would have proven experience within the lift industry, ideally within a management or senior technical engineering role.
The successful candidate will be based at our Warrington Service Branch, with travel throughout Warrington expected. A full UK driving licence is essential.
You will receive a competitive salary plus a benefits package, including a company car or car allowance.
Responsibilities
1. Efficiently plan engineer workloads, including the allocation of repair works.
2. Maintain a portfolio of projects and tasks.
3. Manage absence, performance, and conduct regular appraisals.
4. Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.
5. Carry out regular site monitoring.
6. Maintain relationships with customers, addressing queries and complaints.
Requirements
* Previous experience in the lift or similar service industry with transferable skills is essential.
* Relevant management qualifications are desirable.
* Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering.
