The Role You’ll Play
Assist the regional Community Services Supervisor in managing staff in the program and supporting program needs. Tasks may include coordination of meetings, training and overseeing staff service provision to meet competence per agency standards.
1. Meet and comply with expected administrative and clinical documentation requirements.
2. Assist Supervisor in monitoring that assigned team members in their first quarter of employment have an adjudicated or “clean” claim within 5 days of services provided. For staff on their team who have been employed for more than one quarter, responsible for assisting Supervisor in monitoring that all staff are completing notes by 11:59 the following day.
3. Ensure assigned staff fill their weekly schedule to be successful in meeting client needs and agency expectations.
4. Meet client care expectations and comply with other established productivity standards as established.
5. Attend and actively participate in clinical supervision and program staffing. Provide input to supervisors and other treatment team members regarding clinical and program issues.
6. Network in the communities to increase awareness of the program and to learn about new programs
7. Attend all meetings assigned within the community and on the state level.
8. Work cooperatively with the Management Team and other members of the staff in sharing resources and expertise in pursuit of the agency's mission.
9. Maintain knowledge and skills related to field of work through regular review of written materials and attendance at training events.
10. Adhere to the standards, policies and instructions established by PMHS Policy and Procedure and any applicable ethical codes within field of employment.
11. Manage a team of staff as assigned by the YCS Supervisor.
1. Build collaboration and teamwork.
2. Monitor that expectations are met by team staff.
3. Work closely with direct supervisor on hiring and discipline actions as needed or assigned by supervisor.
4. Train new staff on team.
5. Help increase skill competency of team. Tasks may include but are not limited to observing, training and supervision meetings.
6. Research and present new or updated training and information to team to increase team competency.
12. Assist team with crisis situations that may arise.
13. Demonstrate sensitivity to all cultural and ethnic differences.
14. Perform all other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or other management personnel.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in a human service field or equivalent work experience, or a combination of work experience in the human services field and education with one year of experience substituting for one year of education.
* Basic personal computer skills which enable the entry, retrieval and use of electronic data.
* A valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance maintained in accordance with Pawnee policy and procedure.
* Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language.
Preferred
* Knowledge of the needs and challenges of individuals who experience mental illness.
* Experience with Microsoft Office software.
* Experience leading and supporting a team of individuals.
