Liquid Personnel is two experienced Social Workers to join its client's Children’s Court Team based in Wrexham. This is a fantastic opportunity for practitioners with strong court experience to work within a dedicated specialist team managing care proceedings and complex statutory work. The successful candidates will be based at 31 Chester Street, Wrexham, with a hybrid working arrangement requiring 3–4 days per week in the office. What will your responsibilities be? Manage a caseload of Children’s Court work, including care proceedings under public law. Complete high-quality assessments, statements, and court reports within set timescales. Represent the local authority in court and work closely with legal services. Undertake direct work with children and families to assess risk and promote safeguarding and permanence planning. Ensure all statutory duties are met in line with legislation, guidance, and local procedures. Maintain accurate, timely case records using electronic case management systems. Work collaboratively with internal teams, legal professionals, and partner agencies. Participate in supervision and contribute positively to team working. Skills and Qualification Required: To be successful in this role you must have; Degree level qualification in Social Work (or equivalent). Registered with Social Care Wales. Significant post-qualified experience within Children’s Services. Essential experience in court work and care proceedings. Strong analytical, report-writing, and time management skills.
