Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure Projects

Location: South West Region


Morson Edge are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of infrastructure and civil engineering projects for a leading contractor in the South West. This role offers autonomy, development, and the opportunity to play a key part in project financial performance.

The Role

You will manage commercial activities across a portfolio of projects, ensuring they are delivered profitably, compliantly, and in line with contract requirements. Working closely with project teams, clients and supply chain partners, you will oversee cost control, reporting, procurement and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the financial and contractual performance of projects
2. Prepare accurate cost plans, forecasts, CVRs and monthly progress reports
3. Lead contract administration, change control, variations and claims
4. Oversee procurement and ensure full supply chain compliance
5. Manage subcontractor valuations, payments and final accounts
6. Attend project meetings and complete regular site visits
7. Maintain accurate commercial records and ensure governance compliance
8. Identify risks, opportunities and support decision making
