About The Role

We are looking for an experienced, organised and outcome-driven leader to take ownership of planning, execution, and governance of complex, cross-functional change initiatives across the organisation. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead critical projects that impact multiple areas of the business, bringing structure, pace, and clarity to delivery.

You will act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, aligning initiatives with business objectives, managing interdependencies, and driving delivery excellence. This role requires a delivery focused mindset, strong stakeholder influence, and experience running projects within fast-paced environments.

The role is based at our head office in Barton-Upon-Humber with the option for 2 days working from home per week. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead end-to-end delivery of IT change initiatives aligned with business goals.
2. Manage project scope, schedule, dependencies, and day-to-day delivery.
3. Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and blockers; escalate with solutions.
4. Facilitate stand-ups, updates, workshops, and planning sessions.
5. Engage stakeholders and ensure clarity on roles, actions, and next steps.
6. Maintain clear documentation of scope, plans, risks, and decisions.
7. Align with business and IT leads on dependencies and capacity.
8. Ensure completed work meets expectations and support operational handover.
9. Coordinate with internal and third-party teams as needed.
10. Mentor project team members and support broader PMO development.
11. Contribute to improving delivery practices, tools, and knowledge sharing.

About You

Desired Skills & Knowledge:
12. Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects or programmes in an IT or digital environment.
13. Excellent organisation and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across stakeholders at all levels including C suite.
14. Strong understanding of delivery frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models, and when to apply each.
15. Skilled at using tools such as project plans, action trackers, RAID logs, and dashboards to support clear, structured delivery.
16. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills; able to bring clarity and momentum in complex stakeholder landscapes.
17. Able to interpret technical and business information and communicate it in a way that suits the audience.
18. Familiar with delivery tooling such as Jira, Confluence.
