Job title: Caretaker Job Description: This role is based on site at Kings Lynn - Investigation Centre, working 8am-5pm (40 hours per week), Sunday to Thursday. What you'll be doing carry out minor repairs and assist with general maintenance of equipment across the site undertake a range of reactive and preventative maintenance tasks as required support site upkeep through tasks such as painting, decorating, basic plumbing, and joinery perform cleaning duties to ensure facilities and equipment are hygienic and well-presented, including safe disposal of waste report equipment faults or issues to the Maintenance and Repair Senior Technician monitor and replenish stock levels of consumables and maintenance supplies What we're looking for Essential Skills Previous experience in a similar maintenance or caretaker role Ability to maintain a safe working environment, particularly in non-office settings with varied operational risks Strong team player with a collaborative approach Self-motivated and able to work independently when required Good communication and interpersonal skills Physically fit with a positive, can-do attitude suited to a hands-on role Desirable Skills Experience working across diverse client environments or facilities About Capita & Tascor Capita is an outsourcer, helping clients across the public and private sectors run complex business processes more efficiently, creating better consumer experiences.
