Catalent, Nottingham, United Kingdom, is seeking a Technical Manager to join our team. Catalent is a leading global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) delivering development, manufacturing, and supply solutions to pharma, biotech, and consumer health customers.

The Role
Catalent is looking for a Technical Manager to act as the face of Catalent during project execution, serving as the primary point of contact for clients on all technical matters. You will set the scientific and technical strategy for client projects, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure successful project delivery.
* Define and lead the technical strategy to meet client and product requirements.
* Provide clear scientific direction to technical leads throughout the project lifecycle.
* Approve and sign off on client-facing documents and data, maintaining accountability even when tasks are delegated.
* Proactively identify and resolve technical, quality, and resource-related issues.
* Escalate high-impact concerns to senior management when necessary.
* Mentor and coach junior staff, fostering professional development.
The Candidate
* Degree or higher in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, or chemical engineering.
* Proven experience in pharmaceutical product design, development, and manufacturing.
* Deep expertise in formulation development for oral dosage forms and related analytical methodologies.
* Strong understanding of regulatory and quality standards across major markets, including ICH guidelines.
* Proven project management and multitasking abilities.
* Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
* Excellent problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
* High level of proficiency in GMP practices.
* Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
