We are looking for a PDI Technician to join our busy bodyshop based in Corby, Northamptonshire.
The job in a nutshell
* Salary: £12.41 - £16,07 per hour
* Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00
* 28 days paid holiday
* Overtime available
* Corby, Northamptonshire
* Type of employment: Permanent
* PDI Technician
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles.
* Conduct inspections and maintenance on used vehicles from various manufacturers.
* Perform a range of tasks from oil changes to more advanced diagnostic work.
* Work to agreed timeframes while maintaining high productivity and quality.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and group guidelines.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a PDI (Pre-delivery) Inspector or in a similar role.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* A relevant qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 but not essential.
* A full UK driving licence.
* MOT licence and multi-franchise experience are preferred but not essential.
