Teaching Personnel is recruiting Secondary School Science Teachers to teach Science at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) across a range of secondary schools. These Science teacher jobs include both short-term supply teaching and long-term Science teaching roles, offering flexibility alongside opportunities for career progression.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Secondary Science Teacher with a strong classroom demeanour and a passion for delivering high-quality Science education. This role is ideal for a teacher who wants to make a real difference by inspiring curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of science in young people.
Role Responsibilities – Secondary Science Teacher:
* Teach Science at KS3 and KS4 in secondary schools (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based Science lessons
* Maintain effective classroom management and positive behaviour strategies
* Assess, monitor, and support student progress in Science
* Promote scientific enquiry, experimentation, and analytical thinking
Person Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Science in secondary education
* Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills
* Passion for Science teaching and learning
* Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student achievement
