Job Title: Customer Service Advisor
We are partnering with a successful, professional, and friendly client to recruit a full-time Customer Service Advisor for their office in Haywards Heath. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a reputable insurance/financial services company.
Position Details:
* Full-time, permanent role
* Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 (37.5 hours/week, including a 30-minute lunch break)
* Location: Haywards Heath, with modern offices a 10-minute walk from the station; on-site parking and nearby free street parking available
* Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per year
* Benefits: Pension scheme, employee benefits, social events, and Christmas party
The Role - Customer Service Advisor
This role involves a mix of phone-based customer service and administrative tasks in a busy, friendly office environment within an expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer and resolve customer queries via telephone and email, taking ownership of each task
* Handle general policy administration
* Proactively follow up on customer inquiries and convert them into policies where possible
* Ensure customer satisfaction exceeds expectations
* Produce high-quality documents and maintain accurate records
* Develop a strong understanding of company products
* Comply with company and regulatory policies
* Engage in regular learning and development activities
Requirements and Skills:
* Experience in a telephone-based or customer-facing/support role
* Good educational background, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Customer-focused with a passion for exceeding expectations
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Good prioritization and time management skills with high accuracy
* Proficient IT skills and eagerness to learn new systems
