To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Ceramic Engineering Manager to come and join our team. This role will be home based with regular travel across our sites. Extensive Heavy Clay raw material and process knowledge required In depth knowledge of Drying and Firing principles in Heavy Clay In depth knowledge and experience of control systems for Dryers and Kilns (SCADA, HMI, PLC) In depth knowledge of regulations for gas fired industrial applications In depth knowledge of gas firing technology and experience of a range of gas firing burner types and controls Knowledge and experience of analytical techniques for understanding the effectiveness of drying and firing controls Knowledge and experience of how various clays and raw materials perform during forming, drying and firing Demonstrate ability to improve current drying and firing installations Demonstrate experience in developing new drying and firing installations Experience of managing a team of Ceramic Engineers Involvement in the development of Technical teams and trainees Candidate must be flexible to support with the team of Ceramic Engineers, the clay estate over all operational periods Qualifications: Formally trained in Ceramic Technology NEBOSH certificate or IOHS Managing Safely qualification Minimum Level 3 Gas Safety qualification More details: Full time, permanent role Competitive salary Digicare Provided by Aviva 10% matched pension, administered by Legal and General 3x life insurance Share Save scheme eligibility Full access to Employee Assistance programme for self and family members Access to high street retail discounts platform - with access to discounts at Tesco, Asda, etc… Personal development and career progression opportunities Our commitment to diversity and inclusion?
