How you will contribute as part of the TRCA team:
The Intern, Development & Engineering Services ( Visual Media and Communications) will accompany Watershed Planning and Ecosystem Science (WPES) staff during fieldwork to capture visual media content and provide support in preparing communications.
Major Responsibilities:
* Assist WPES staff with capturing and editing visual media (photo and video) content.
* Assist in the preparation and organization of audiovisual equipment.
* Research, plan and execute final short video project during or shortly after the internship ends.
* Write communications that promote WPES work through our newsletter and social media platforms.
What will you need to succeed:
* Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a post-secondary program in Resource Management, Urban Geography, Biology, Ecology, Digital Media, and/or Marketing and Communications.
* Photography and video recording and editing skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Team player with experience working in a group environment .
* Ability to comprehend written documentation and procedural guidelines.
* Sound time management and organization skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office suite including online software such as MS teams, WebEx, and SharePoint.
