Position: Part-time (22.54 per hour
A Full UK Driving Licence Covering Manual Vehicles and Ability To Drive Large SUV & Transferable Experience
Who Will You Be Supporting?
We support an energetic and social gentleman in his 20s with a learning disability and autism. Being Social: Interacting with his support workers, even without using words.
Enjoying long walks, hikes, gym sessions, bike rides, and swimming. Confidence in getting into a pool to support him is a must. You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress - full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is essential
Help him live his life to the fullest, promoting his choices and supporting him in achieving his goals.
Daily Living Support: Provide comprehensive personal care, meal preparation, medication, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and laundry - cooking skills are highly valued.
Structured Schedule: Follow a structured schedule, essential for his well-being, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.
Behaviourial Training: Receive Positive Behaviour Support & PROACT-SCIP training to excel in this role.
Shift Patterns
Day Shifts: 7:30am - 3:00pm
Day Shifts: 3:00pm - 10:30pm
Rotas are provided in advance to ensure a healthy work-life balance. This role will involve 2:1 support.
