Wake Night Support Worker - Autism and Learning Disabilities – Supported Living

Waking Night shifts; 23:00-08:00 (9 hours) or 20:00-08:00 (12 hours)

Due to the occupational requirements of this role, we are only able to consider female applicants. Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 applies to this post.

Our personalised supported living and outreach service for adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs is currently searching for multiple people to help enhance our excellent team.

We have vacancies across the following roles:

* Full Time (45 hours)
* Part Time (30 hours)
* Bank

We are happy to interview those who are new to care and looking for a new career, however, we would also love to hear from applicants who have experience with:

* Learning Disabilities
* Autism and /or Asperger's
* Providing structure and consistent boundaries
* Supporting independence and daily living skills, as well as community-based activities
* Supporting effective social communication
* Experience with challenging behaviour
* Knowledge of positive behaviour support

Desirable skills:

* Experience with non-verbal communication
* Experience working with ADHD
* Competent, confident and proactive with lone working
* Understanding the impact of Trauma
