We are looking for a School Administrator to join our friendly team at The Sunbeck Centre, a pupil referral unit serving the Hambleton and Richmondshire areas. This is a key role at the heart of our school, supporting the Headteacher and staff team with a wide range of administrative and financial tasks. From overseeing the school office and reception, to data analysis and administration of invoices, this role offers plenty of variety.
You will:
* Provide efficient and confidential administrative support to the Headteacher and staff team.
* Manage the smooth day-to-day running of the school office
* Support financial processes such as budget monitoring, invoices, and reconciliation.
* Be the first point of contact for visitors, parents and carers – ensuring a welcoming, professional reception.
* Support in the monitoring of visitors/contractors and the organisation of meetings and cover arrangements.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety and data protection requirements.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has significant experience in administration (ideally in a school or similar environment).
* Can juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
* Has strong ICT, communication and organisational skills.
* Brings resilience, adaptability, and a good-natured approach to the role.
* Can work well independently and as part of a team.

Working hours
This post is advertised at 32.5 hours to be worked across five days (Mon-Fri). Hours worked are to be 8am to 3pm with 30 minutes for lunch. Hours may be open to negotiation for the successful candidate.
