Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join an established organisation known for providing high-quality care and support to people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
The organisation is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment, ensuring that every team member feels valued and supported. The Supported Living Manager role is crucial in driving the service forward and supporting adults with learning disabilities.
The role:
1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the supported living service for approximately 9 individuals.
2. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and uphold high standards of care.
3. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of support staff to deliver exceptional care.
4. Conduct regular assessments and reviews of service users' needs and progress.
5. Develop and implement personalized support plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
6. Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure financial sustainability.
7. Foster positive relationships with external stakeholders, including families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals.
8. Promote a culture of safeguarding and ensure the safety and well-being of all service users.
9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in a managerial role within adult services, preferably in a leadership capacity.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
5. Experience in developing and implementing care and support plans.
6. Strong organizational and time management skills.
7. Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care, preferably a minimum of Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
8. Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
9. The role is permanent, over 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to work at the services and some office-based work. Predominantly Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, with the ability to work shifts and weekends as required.
